Prof. Tsukanov is dealing with the experimental researches in the area of the time psychology more over 20 years.

He has distinguished the own time unit in the human psychics structure, has built the cycloid model of the experienced time, has discovered the law of the individual watch flow, described the totality of the real temporal qualities of the human psychics.

Abstract (by the author)

In the monograph the results of my own many years experimental researches of the experienced time regularities, which take place in the psychics of the individuum, are presented. The main measure of the experienced duration is the unit of the time that is given to each person from the nature. It determines the temporal qualities of the person's psychics, its belonging to a topologic group, the subjective speed of the time flow and the type of the orientation in the temporal perspective. This time unit is an inborn constituent of the biological clock of the individuum and it allows us to build a cycloid model of the ultra-, circa- and infradian rhythms experiencing on the base of the transmission number. A great cycle of the vital activity is theoretically proved and practically checked and it accounts for the age based division into periods exactly. The part of the phase singulation in the life of a personality, in the change of the way of living and in the psychosomatic frustrations is considered. The notion of "good watch" as the indicator of the intellectual capacity of the person and its special talents is introduced.

The appellation to the theme "Time in the human psychics" is the evidence of the fact that the psychologists have realized the importance of this theme for the development of the psychology.

The book contains deep fact materials and on the base of these materials we can make productive hypotheses about the regularities of the time reflection processes. One news for the psychological science is the conclusion made by the author about the fact, that " the subject divides the space in the aim direction. After our researches we can make a conclusion that the temporal structure of the composed movement from the zone of long intervals is a consecutive chain of the time quanta. On the way the aim set, the subject, having reached a concrete result within one own time unit, can make the next step within another time unit, and he counts the time from the previous act end as from the own beginning.

In such chain of the unit acts of the composed movement there are no repetitions because of the time irreversibility, so the movement (after N.A.Bernstein) can be never repeated, and every time it is built from the very beginning on the base of a "chain program", where every next act is the ecforator of the previous" (page 66). Here the author of the book proposes the description of a famous fact from the finite totality considered (in the sense of Hilbert), and it is enough to be put in the base of a good psychological theory about the subjective time.

In this book the subjective time in terms of the time perception is thoroughly considered and analyzed. It sets limits for the results of the researches.

The object of the psychological science that is considered in the book (in this case it is time) is narrowed very much and it is artificially limited. Such method of consideration is spread now in the psychology and is called "anatomical pathology" method. The own time unit, which is distinguished in the book (page 190) is changing both
1) in the different activities for the different human requirements and
2) within the action for a one requirement on the different stages.

Here are the facts and the results of the author and we can oppose them nothing. They are true under certain conditions. However, this truth is relative and it is determined by those artificial experiments conditions, in which it was got.

When we change these conditions and set a human being in the other conditions, we'll get new relative truth and we can get truths and not reach the laws, and the psychology needs these laws very much.

One more advantage of the book is the great bibliography on the theme of the subjective time (368 units), it is the evidence of the interest of the psychologists to this theme both in the history of the psychology and nowadays.
