Cosmic Wind and Psychological Science

It is interesting to compare the failure of interplanetary expedition to the Mars, milliards dollars literally wasted on cosmic wind with the poor financing of psychological science. Society permits itself to waste milliards on futile attempts to find out if there is life on the Mars without knowing at the same time how human life and psyche are organized on the Earth, naively supposing that everything has been cognized on the Earth. Not comprehending oneself one wants to learn what there is outside him/her. Can everything be really cognized in a person? Why then there's so much suffering (physical and especially spiritual) on our planet? Why there are so many deformed and broken psyches? Maybe it's normal, maybe psyche's deformation and psychic deviation are normal?

NASA is a capricious child, a child of rich parents who don't know what they wish for their children. Not having comprehended itself the humankind wants to learn about other worlds. What will it get by discovering one or another form of life on another distant planet? It has nowhere to go except the Earth. Every generation of the Earth's inhabitants confronts the same psychological problems which were 2000 years ago, though added with technological novelty of information processing. Psychological science is a little over 100 years. We are the witnesses of a great break off between reality and its reflection in human science of person's cognizing him/herself. There is the necessity to develop psychological science and there is human spirit which hasn't comprehended itself but dares to dream about living on other planets - that is the situation for today.

At the same time in psychological science for example one Californian mathematician-psychologist of genius creates a mathematical model of belief (just think over it) and nobody knows if he gets a reward - a mere pittance - 285 dollars. it is well known that investments in intellect, brains are more profitable than many other noncommercial kinds of business, that investments in human intellect are much more repaid than investments in other capital investment spheres. Society understands the necessity to help psychological science; so the most part of neoropsychological research is supported by private funds. Charles A. Dana Foundation, the chairman is David Joseph Mahoney and Templeton Fund are widely known.

At the same time they are quite evident all the nuances of financial lack, poverty, in American Psychological Association - APA - which still has the image of a worthy, respectable and not poor organization; although it has to deal even with real estate in order to survive, it even has to invent such an ethic code and to tie up its members so that they do not protest against poverty, but pay from 27 to 54 dollars in order to be supervised and to be appraised according to this code. It's time to look around and admit that there is an enormous break off between the pride of a great country and the poverty of incognized spirit both as from the point of mental health and selfcognizing personal spirit, psychology. Can success be achieved in aspirations to comprehend other worlds if at the same time one hasn't comprehended oneself? Yes, if speaking about technological achievements and breaks-through. But success in scientific understanding of human psyche through understanding the alien's psychology is doubtful. Besides, it is unknown if they permit to realize such an exquisitely naive and ideally delightful fantastic possibility. What is necessary to make human brains comprehend itself without resorting to any flights to the other planets? Now there was reached the necessity to direct considerable financial resources on the sciences of brain, of a person and especially on psychological sciences on the Earth and the necessity to involve the best scientific personnel in psychology.
